This page explains how to delete your account or your data from ReadingDaily Scripture, LaSallian Daily, or the ourENGLISH.best website. All three are run by OurEnglish.info Pty Ltd (developer: Lou Page).
How to ask
- Email ourenglish2019@gmail.com from the email address on your account.
- Use the subject “Delete my account”, or “Delete my data” if you want to keep the account.
- Say which app or site it’s for: ReadingDaily Scripture, LaSallian Daily, or ourENGLISH.best.
- If you only want some data deleted, say which (for example, your reading history or journal entries).
We’ll confirm by email and finish within 30 days. If you signed in with Apple’s “Hide My Email”, tell us, and we’ll help you prove the account is yours.
What we delete
- ReadingDaily Scripture: your account (email, display name), reading progress, history, bookmarks, highlights, settings, and any unredeemed gifts you sent.
- LaSallian Daily: your account (name, email) and the journal entries synced to it.
- ourENGLISH.best: your account details, bookings, and lesson history.
What we keep, and for how long
- Purchases: Apple and Google keep their own purchase records under their privacy policies. Website payment records are kept for 7 years because tax law requires it.
- ReadingDaily crash reports: not linked to your account; deleted automatically within 90 days.
- ReadingDaily usage analytics: not linked to your account; deleted automatically within 14 months.
- LaSallian Daily quote reactions: stored only as anonymous totals, so there’s nothing linked to you to delete.
- Data on your phone: journal entries, settings, and downloaded content stay on your device until you delete the app.
